I know by now you guys have heard about American Experience Freedom Riders on PBS. I truly hope you have. It's premiering on Monday, May 16th at 9/8c. I truly hope you can find time to sit with your family and watch this documentary. I myself have been waiting for it for months.
I truly hope you also have an idea what this show is about...lol. I'm sure you do. You know it takes place during the Civil Rights Movement and that is really why you should know something about it. I watched this and learned so much. To be honest I didn't know too much about the Freedom Riders until they appeared on the Oprah Show I think either last week or the week before. It's amazing what they went through. Me and my husband always wonder how we would of been if we lived back during that time. I couldn't imagine. Our people are truly strong people.
